April 2024 Update After a tough few months since Cyclone Jasper’s visit in December we are very excited that the road north of us to Cape Tribulation is now open to all traffic. This means that, for visitors exploring the amazing Daintree Rainforest, both the Dubuji and Maardja National Park Boardwalks are now accessible again, along with other Cape Tribulation activities. Plan a visit now and you may be able to experience the peacefulness of the Daintree before it gets busy
Our Journey to Daintree Siesta and Learning to Love Slow Travel
In 2019 we packed up our Sydney house and spent a year doing the Big Lap of Australia in a caravan with our two kids, Nicolas (then aged 10?) and Natasha (aged 8?).
