We were delighted to feature on SBS World News on 1 August 2026, sharing a small glimpse of life here at Daintree Siesta and the beauty of the Daintree Rainforest alongside some wonderful members of our local community.
The story also highlighted some of the challenges faced by our remote, off-grid region, including rising diesel prices and increasing operating costs. Like many local businesses, we're continually looking for practical and sustainable ways to reduce our reliance on fuel and minimise these impacts, while continuing to provide a relaxing rainforest escape for our guests.
